Water Taxi System
Using its location to full advantage, Shams Abu Dhabi plans on
implementing a leisure
water taxi system that will link the
canals to the free flowing azure waters.
The Water Taxis
will stop at key attraction destinations, linking Morina Residence to other
developments on the island.
Theatre and Marina Districts
Both districts will create continuous entertainment, attracting visitors from
all over the region. The Theatre District includes cinemas, theatres, retail
outlets and speciality boutiques. The Marina District, an oval-shaped
harbor, will be active throughout the day for boats and water taxis.
Central Park
With the open space concept in mind, Shams Abu Dhabi has planned a
large Central Park for both young and old offering a pleasant ambience.
The park will have
a water theater, lagoons and
beach cabanas, a mosque and cultural centers,
complimented with dining pavilions and arena.
The
park has a one-of-a-kind natural cooling concept that has never been
implemented in the Middle East before, which allows the temperature to
drop down 10 degrees lower than the normal city temperature.
