Abdulaziz AL Loughani

Mr. Abdulaziz is the Managing Partner at Faith Capital, a venture capital practice that is focused on the MENA Region and North Africa. He is also the CEO of Floward, a full-fledged online store for flowers and gifts in the GCC and the UK. Previously, Abdulaziz was the founding Executive Vice Chairman of the Kuwait National Fund for SMEs Development, a USD 7bn independent public institution responsible for developing the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Kuwait (2013-2017). Prior to this role, he was a co-founder and Managing Partner of Talabat.com until 2010, and has since then been investing in technology startups and involved in a number of local and regional entrepreneurial initiatives. Abdulaziz has also previously served as Director at Global Investment House, where he has played a major role in managing key investments within the Private Equity Group of Global, by handling various assignments on corporate restructuring, business planning, deal structuring, due diligence and managing portfolio companies to exit.

Abdulaziz has served as an executive and member of board on a number of companies within the MENA region in the technology, banking, healthcare, manufacturing, consumer finance, food & beverage, real estate and public sectors.

Salwa Malhas holds a Bachelor and Master›s degree in Civil Engineering from the Jordan University of Science and Technology and has completed courses and programs of continuous executive education and development in real estate development, finance and business administration from Harvard University Graduate School of Design in Boston, USA. She also obtained an accredited Certificate in Business Administration from INSEAD University, as well as an accredited certificate from the University of Chicago in critical decisions about business development and enterprise.

Eng. Salwa Malhas has more than 28 years of experience in the real estate development sector, developing business models, feasibility studies and corporate business plans, which include objectives, financial flow schedules, profitability and company budget, and is thoroughly specialized in building, developing and operating medical projects and offering tenders for operating laboratories, pharmacies and commercial centers.

She is currently the Group Chief Operating Officer at Al Mazaya Holding Company, where she started her career in the company since January 2004 in the Business Development and Marketing Department. Since then , Malhas has developed, structured, assessed and analyzed the company’s business plan, finding profitable new businesses, supervising its development and growth, participating in bidding projects with the government and the private sector, conducting feasibility studies for various business opportunities, and marketing the company and its projects.

In the past , Malhas served for nine years as the General Manager for ACICO Group, listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange , where she sourced, conducted research, and proposed new lands for profitable real estate development projects, while overseeing corporate marketing , supervising these projects and proposing tenders. Prior to that, she served as a Tendering Engineer at Al-Zaben International Company (as a first-grade contractor).

She also worked as an assistant university professor in the engineering department at the Jordan University of Science and Technology in the year 1993. In addition, Malhas served as a member of the boards of several real estate and investment companies and is currently the Vice-Chairman of the board of directors of the First Dubai Real Estate Development Company, whose capital exceeds 300 million dollars. Engineer Salwa obtained many training certificates from Kuwait University and the American University in Kuwait. She also participated in several training programs for Executives such as the Blue Ocean program offered by INSEAD, the Future of Technological Developments and their Impact on Business Sectors, and programs dedicated to corporate identity management, marketing, sales, business and project management.

Mr. Khaled has over 23 years of operations, corporate finance, consulting, audit, banking, and accounting experience. Mr. Khaled was Chief Operating Officer of F&S Holding Company. From 2005 to 2011, he was Senior Vice President – Finance & Operations of Al-Muthanna Investment Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kuwait Finance House. He served as Chief Financial Officer, Vice President and Assistant Secretary of couple of U.S. Property Co. He also was Board Member of Florida Atlantic BOCA Research Park and Deerfield Research Park, State Of Florida, USA. He was Board Member of Muthanna Financial Brokerage Company. And a board member of The Kuwaiti Manager Company for Managing Real Estate Projects and Internal Audit Committee member of Mawarid united Investment Company. He is also a lecturer for several courses in professional specialties, and a Board member of First Dubai Real Estate Development Co.. He has wide and extensive experience in audit and consulting having previously worked with Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen. During his service with those firms, he was acting manager of a large portfolio of medium to large size clients and was responsible for overall assignment control, client relationship coordination, and quality control assurance.

Working as Acting Director for Property Management Dept. in Al Mazaya Holding Co. gradually accelerated through vastly accomplished efforts. Working significantly in real estate development in various projects located in Kuwait, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and Turkey, conducted a range of real estate researches, working hard in tracking competitors marketing activities; aimed at collecting data to identify the current real estate industries trends and prices to that serve the organization goals. Mr. Jasem is currently a Board member in Waterfront Real Estate Co. since 2013 and a Member in Kuwait Public Relations Association since 2013 .

Mr. Yousef AL Baijan

Mr. Yousef currently holds the position of General Manager of Al Shaheed Park - Kuwait’s Largest Urban Park and currently serves as a member of the Youth Council LOYAC , a non- profit organization that helps empower the overall development of the youth . Has an extensive experience amounting to more than 13 years in Property Management, real estate development and strategic corporate marketing. Yousef Al Baijan has a diverse track record of achievements that range from conceptualization, creation and implementation of real estate and marketing products across the Mena region. The multiple roles he has taken on over the past decade underline the breadth of his practical experience, as well as his distinct managerial skills in property management and corporate communication. He has served numerous roles   in Mazaya Holding Co.as Marketing and Leasing manager and consequently as the Property Management Manager. He is an International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Alumni by the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program - promoting social change through the arts.
